Welcome to Kindergarten at Anderson-Livsey Elementary School! My name is Beth Clifton. This will be my thirteenth year teaching and my third year teaching kindergarten. I taught third grade in Newton County for three years before getting married and moving to Gwinnett County where I taught at Britt Elementary for six years before coming to ALES. I taught third grade for my first three years with Gwinnett County Public Schools and then taught small reading and math groups for grades K-5 for two years before becoming a first grade teacher for two years and then moving to kindergarten. I am enjoying kindergarten and love to see the huge growth made from August to May. When I'm not at school, I am busy being a mommy to my 3.5 year old daughter Kaeley. She loves asking about my students and what we do each day. :)
My name is Amy Koehlke. I graduated from South Gwinnett High School in 2008 and attended Kennesaw State University and graduated in May 2012 with a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education. This is my second year teaching and my second year here at Anderson Livsey Elementary School. When I am not at school, I enjoy watching and playing sports. I am obsessed with Hello Kitty and Ninja Turtles and believe to be a big kid at heart :)
My name is Maggie Norris. I graduated from Georgia Southern University, with a degree in Early Childhood Education. This is my fourth year teaching, and my fourth year teaching Kindergarten. For the past three years, I taught Kindergarten at Benefield Elementary School in Lawrenceville. This is my first year working here at Anderson-Livsey Elementary school, and I am beyond thrilled to be a teacher here! I absolutely LOVE teaching Kindergarten, it really is my passion and I am so happy to be working with you and your child this year!! :)
